Mace in Spain delivers shopping mall for client Hines

Mace in Spain has completed Hines Zielo shopping mall in Madrid. Designed by architect Alberto Martin Caballero, it is the first shopping centre in Europe to receive the prestigious Silver LEED certification, marking the development as being built with sustainability in mind.

Mace provided project and construction management services to deliver the project on time and to the required quality and cost specifications.

The shopping centre has 15,200 square metres of gross leasable area and more than 1,000 parking spaces on the three floor basement. The entire building makes maximum use of natural light and offers visitors impressive views of Madrid.
